The two orders

OrderEffect
G.O. 68, 12 March 2025HMDA region extended up to the RRR plus a buffer of up to 2 km: about 1,355 villages, 104 mandals, 11 districts, about 10,472 sq km
G.O. 69, March 2025FCDA created for 56 villages in Amangal, Ibrahimpatnam, Kadthal, Kandukur, Maheshwaram, Manchal and Yacharam mandals; 36 villages moved out of HMDA

Dual-jurisdiction risk

Villages that changed authority may have layouts approved by the previous authority. Some reports say HMDA and DTCP continued issuing permissions inside FCDA territory for a period. Such approvals may need re-verification with the current authority.

Further changes

Additional villages, including 28 in Maheshwaram mandal, have been proposed for inclusion in FCDA. Jurisdiction may keep changing.

How to use this

  1. Identify the villageFrom records, not brochures.
  2. Find the current authorityHMDA, FCDA or DTCP.
  3. Compare with the approving authorityIf different, ask how the approval stands now.
