Our view: March 2025 quietly changed the map for plot buyers

In our opinion, the most important change for open-plot buyers in recent years was not a road or a factory. It was two government orders in March 2025 that extended HMDA up to the Regional Ring Road and created the Future City Development Authority.

The practical effect is that the question “who approves layouts in this village?” has a different answer now than it did two years ago. Brochures written earlier, and some written since, still use the old answer.
