1Corridor overview
The Mumbai Highway corridor follows NH 65 west from Hyderabad through Sangareddy district. It combines an established industrial belt near the Outer Ring Road with planned projects further west, most notably the NIMZ near Zaheerabad.
2Hyderabad connection
The corridor leaves Hyderabad’s western edge near Patancheru, where it meets the Outer Ring Road, and continues through Sangareddy, Sadashivpet and Zaheerabad toward the Maharashtra border.

A mandal headquarters town on NH 65 west of Sangareddy, on the part of the Mumbai Highway corridor that runs toward Zaheerabad.
Zaheerabad
A town further west on NH 65, close to the planned National Investment and Manufacturing Zone (NIMZ).
6NIMZ
The National Investment and Manufacturing Zone near Zaheerabad was approved in 2013 and revived in August 2024 as the Zaheerabad Industrial Smart City. Phase I covers 3,245 acres at about ₹2,361 crore, and basic infrastructure works were assigned in March 2026. See the Zaheerabad profile.
