Scale

Phase I: 3,245 acres at about ₹2,361 crore. Total designated area: roughly 12,500 acres (NICDC cites 12,635 acres). It is a priority node on the Hyderabad–Nagpur Industrial Corridor.

Existing industry

Mahindra & Mahindra already makes small tractors and some commercial vehicles at Zaheerabad.

For land buyers

  • Check that land is not acquired or notified for the industrial city.
  • Industrial and buffer zones restrict housing.
  • Job and price effects depend on actual factory openings.
