Centre moves on the Regional Ring Road’s southern part
A consultant has been appointed to prepare the detailed project report for the RRR’s southern stretch, according to a March 2026 report.

Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari confirmed that NHAI has taken a step forward on the southern part of the Hyderabad Regional Ring Road, South First reported on 27 March 2026. With a detailed project report consultant appointed, engineering, cost estimation, environmental clearances and alignment finalisation are in progress.
Fact status
The Union minister confirmed progress on the southern part (as reported).
A detailed project report is an early stage. The alignment is not final, and earlier changes to the southern alignment drew objections from landowners.
Why it matters for buyers
Until the alignment is notified, no one can be sure which parcels it will touch. Treat advertised “RRR-facing” claims on the southern side with caution.
