Since 2024, layout and building permissions in gram panchayat areas within HMDA are routed through the state’s online system. What buyers should know.
TG-bPASS is Telangana’s online building permission and self-certification system. Reports indicate that from April 2024, HMDA routed layout permissions, building permissions and occupancy certificates for gram panchayat areas within its jurisdiction through TG-bPASS.
What this means for you
- A layout in a gram panchayat village inside HMDA should have an HMDA permission issued through the official system, not a panchayat resolution.
- Ask for the application or permission number and verify it.
- Be cautious of layouts approved only by a panchayat after the village came under HMDA.
