Summary

With the LRS rebate extended to 30 November 2026, some sellers may market plots as “LRS done” or “LRS applied”. Regularisation addresses the planning status of a plot, not title, and not the infrastructure of a properly approved layout.

The record

Official

2025 guidelines aim to prevent regularisation of government land and prohibited parcels.

What buyers should verify

  • The regularisation order itself, not just the application.
  • That the land is not government or prohibited land.
  • Full title checks.
