Agricultural land conversion (NALA) for plots

Plotted layouts on farmland need conversion for non-agricultural use. What to ask for.

Land classified as agricultural must be converted for non-agricultural use before it is developed into plots. Telangana handles this under its agricultural land conversion law, commonly called NALA, through the revenue department.

  • Ask for the conversion order covering the layout’s survey numbers.
  • Check that the extent converted matches the layout extent.
  • Confirm the revenue records reflect the conversion.
