How to file a complaint with Telangana RERA

If a registered promoter breaks the Act or the agreement, buyers can complain to the authority. The basic process.

The RERA Act allows any aggrieved person to file a complaint with the state authority about violations by a promoter, agent or buyer.

  1. Collect your documentsAgreement, receipts, correspondence, brochure and the project’s registration details.
  2. Write a clear timelineWhat was promised, what happened, and when.
  3. File on the authority’s portalUse the complaint form on the Telangana RERA website and pay the prescribed fee.
  4. Attend hearingsKeep copies of every submission and order.

Unregistered projects

If a project that should be registered is not, you can also report it to the authority.
